HDP co-leaders and nine other parlemanterians arrested by Turkish police

Selahattin Demirtas, and Figen Yuksekdag co-leaders of the left-wing pro-Kurdish Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) and at least nine other members have been detained by Turkish Police.Our correspondent in Diyarbakir Hatice Kamer was not able to send us her regular report due to internet disruption in the region, so we spoke with her over the phone about the unfolding events.
