Due to the internet blackout in Kobani, we were unable to reach anyone for a live interview, including the journalists we attempted to contact. As a result, Mr Umer Menla Yusif, a pharmacist based in Kobani, sent us voice messages via WhatsApp. We asked him about the latest developments regarding the humanitarian situation in the city, as well as the reasons behind the ongoing lack of water, electricity, and internet access.
