The start of 2025 has been celebrated around the world with dazzling fireworks displays and rituals. Australia was among the first countries to welcome the New Year. Australians marked the start of 2025 with fireworks and parties. More than a million people gathered at the main vantage points around Sydney Harbour for the city's world-famous fireworks display.
