SBS is commemorating fifty years of broadcasting, and in recognition of this milestone, we journeyed to regional Queensland for an outside broadcast (OB) in Toowoomba. , a city that has embraced many refugees over the last ten years. We engaged in a discussion with Salim Hussein, a representative of the Ezidi Community Association in Toowoomba, regarding the community's settlement. Mr Hussein stated that there are 7,000 Ezidis who have settled in Toowoomba as refugees over the past eight years and many of them are business owners like himself who owns a supermarket.
