"The main focus of MEPS is on peace and stability in the Middle East"

On Monday, November 20, the Middle East Peace and Security Forum (MEPS) took place at the American University of Kurdistan in Duhok. The event was attended by the Kurdistan Region’s President, Nechirvan Barzani, Kurdistan Regional Government Prime Minister, Masrour Barzani, Deputy Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government Qubad Talabani and numerous politicians, academics, and researchers from around the world. To learn more about the aim of the Forum we speak to Dr Jiyar Aghapouri, Director at the Center for Peace and Human Security (CPHS).
