The situation in Afrin is affecting Kurdish community members in Australia

It has been twenty-seven days since Turkey started military operations in Afrin. The situation is worsening day by day, many lives have been lost and many more injured. No doubt what is happening there has its impact on Kurdish community members from Afrin who live in Australia. Roshin Betal and Meryem Muhamed arrived in Australia from Afrin a few years ago as refugees due to the civil war in Syria. We spoke to them about the impact the situation in Afrin is having on them and their families here.
