"Women are half of society, there is no development without women"

Dr Kavi Mufti is an intensive care specialist, emergency physician, Director of ICU at Frankston Hospital Peninsula Health, and Associate Professor at Melbourne University. She came to Australia with her family in 1995 because of the instability and war in Iraq against the Kurds. Dr Mufti is very successful in her field as a doctor. We speak to her about International Women's Day and the importance of women's role in society.
