Another 'big day out' for Macedonian food and culture

Macedonian food, wine and culture were at their best at this year's Macedonian Food Fest held at Footscray Park on Sunday, 27 October. Community organisers delighted thousands of visitors on the day with traditional burek, kebapi, tulumbi and maznik, topped with a rare display of original and exquisitely handcrafted Macedonian women's costumes, dating back more than a century. Popular dance ensembles from both Victoria and New South Wales joined folkloric forces to give audiences young and old, another memorable festive experience.
