The Atlanta police officer who allegedly shot Rayshard Brooks has been charged with 11 offences including felony murder and could spend the rest of his life behind bars. Prosecutors have brought murder charges Wednesday against the white Atlanta police officer alleged to have shot Rayshard Brooks in the back. They say that the black man posed no threat when he was gunned down outside a Wendy's restaurant five days ago, and that the officer kicked him and offered no medical treatment as he lay dying on the ground.
