Australians are being urged to take personal responsibility for stopping further coronavirus outbreaks, as more states announce their timelines for the easing of restrictions. As Australia records just 14 new coronavirus cases within 24 hours, more states have announced their plans for winding back restrictions. Western Australia will become the first jurisdiction to introduce a gathering limit of 20 people, as it moves to the second phase of its so-called "roadmap to recovery" next Monday May 18. The limit of 20 people will also apply to restaurants, cafes, pubs, bars, and hotels provided they adhere to the four square metre density rule.
