Bishop Petar was detained and released by the Finance Police at the airport in Skopje

Bishop of Prespa and Pelagonia Petar confirmed that he was detained at the airport due to a procedural error. After being apologized to, he was released to continue his trip to Australia. Regarding the detention of Bishop Petar, The Financial Police Directorate issued a statement saying that he had some knowledge, but since it is a subject which is in a pre-trial procedure, they are not able to share the information publicly.
