Call for Macedonians in Australia to take part in land consolidation in the Bitola region

Macedonian geodetic company, Geo Balkan, from Bitola calls on the landowners or their descendants who have properties in the villages of Logovardi and Optichari, Municipality of Bitola, to contact them immediately for the purpose of fulfilling their legal right to be informed and declare their interests in the consolidated plots of land listed in the areas of consolidation. "The land consolidation as a process is designed to protect the ownership rights and to guarantee fair re-allotment of the land parcels ensuring that the land owners would be at least as well of as they were before the start of the land consolidation. The whole process of planning is done in close consultations and bearing in mind the quality and quantity of land that each land owner is participating in this land consolidation project", says Mima Geras Dochovska, from GEO Balkan. For SBS Macedonian she discuses the details of this initiative, which is a partnering project of Food and Agriculture Organization at UN and the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management of the Republic of Macedonia, while it is funded by the European Union.
