Call upon the Australian government to protect the media freedom

Three media bosses united yesterday at a Press Club address in Canberra, pushing for new laws to protect journalists and whistle-blowers in the aftermath of police raids targeting press freedom. "We call upon the government to amend a number of existing laws to protect the public’s right to know"- said News Corp Executive Chairman Michael Miller. A strong and united coalition of media organisations - determined to fight against a silenced press.
