Doctors call for nationwide free flu shots for children

Doctors are calling for other Australian states and territories to follow the lead of New South Wales and Western Australia, making flu vaccinations free for young children. Australia's worst-ever flu epidemic last year resulted in the deaths of two pre-schoolers, prompting the New South Wales government to spend almost 4 million dollars to boost immunisation rates.
