Speaking about the song for MRT, Bojan said:

'This is a song about deep and unconditional love where one can dive deeper into the world of the unknown and experience the magic of true and powerful love. I hope Eurovision viewers will enjoy the cheerful melody and the charming vocal of Marija.'

Talking about the song Marija added:

'When I first heard the song Bojan was playing on the piano I instantly liked it, I felt an emotion right away. It took only 20 seconds to fall in love with this melody, I hope the audience will react the same way as I did. I am really excited that I will perform this song on the Eurovision stage and will have a chance to share my emotions with everyone'.

The Macedonian national broadcaster MRT has internally selected 'Lost and Found' out of 382 songs received and the panel who selected the duo and the song, says:

'The selected composition has a contemporary sound, impressive refrain and lyrics, an excellent and original vocal abilities of the performer, which certainly offers the opportunity for a quality Eurovision package and a worthy presentation of MRT and Macedonia at this prestigious music event organized by EBU'.

Macedonia first appeared in Eurovision Song Contest 1998, and has been participating 17 times, but with no greatest results.

It's best score was in 2006, when Elena Risteska finished 12th with the song 'Ninanajna'. The contestants never came last, but managed to qualify for the Grand Final only 5 times out of 14 since the introductions of semi-finals in 2004. And they have qualified for the Grand Final only one time in the last ten years: in 2012 (Kaliopi - 'Crno i Belo').

Here’s the official song and video for Republic of Macedonia at the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest:

'Eye Cue' will perform 'Lost and Found' in the second half of the first semi-final on 8th May. Has Macedonia, at last, found the formula to win the ticket for the grand final? You can judge yourself with your comment on our facebook page.
