FOMKUD's 31st Macedonian Ilinden Festival draws hundreds of dancers to its stage

Hundreds of young dancers from 8 Macedonian folk dance ensembles in Victoria will converge on Heritage Receptions in Epping on the 29th of July, showcasing their best dances for the year.Parents and relatives delight in the annual folkloric smorgasbord, featuring well-seasoned and new choreographies, and a combination of both traditionally made and stylised Macedonian costumes.For the Federation of Macedonian Cultural and Artistic Dance Groups (FOMKUD), this is the 31st concert and, despite the number of dance groups being halved, hundreds of dancers will take to the stage for an unforgettable evening of song and dance.
