Former chief of counter-intelligence Sasho Mijalkov arrested

A 30-day detention was assigned to the former chief of Macedonian counter-intelligence at the request of the Special Public Prosecutor. According to the Criminal Court, detention was ordered based on the risk of escape as well as in connection to the "Target-Tvrdina" case. At the same time, the former prime minister Nikola Gruevski was granted political asylum status by Hungary.
