Gay conversion practices have been banned in Victoria

Australia's peak Islamic community organisation has vowed to challenge a ban on gay conversion practices in Victoria, which passed parliament on Thursday Feb 4. Meanwhile survivors, who had to re-live their trauma to secure the passage of the legislation, are calling for other states and territories to follow Victoria's lead.
