Happy 8 September - Macedonian Independence Day

Macedonia's independence was declared on the 8 September 1991, after the referendum results that reflected the desire of it's citizens in favour of sovereign independent state.

This is one of the most important dates in Macedonian history that marks the realisation of the ideals and desires of many generations of Macedonians who have dedicated and sacrificed their own lives throughout centuries of struggle for establishing an independent sovereign state.
