If Macedonian books today are to compete with other media for children's attention, they need to be both entertaining and interactive, says Biljana S. Crvenkovska, an increasingly popular writer of children's novels. Through her work she strives to ignite children's imaginations, inspire kids to be creative themselves and promote the standard Macedonian language. In addition to children's novels, she has also authored scripts for children's TV and online programs in Macedonia such as "Pet Plus", "Zoki Poki" and "Bibi".
