It is a year since Russia invaded Ukraine

Today 24 February 2023, marks one year since President Vladimir Putin ordered nearly 200,000 Russian forces to invade Ukraine. There was international outcry following the invasion, but many in Ukraine have long felt Russia's presence, nervously anticipating a full-scale war.
