Koco Filin - "Macedonians were singing and dancing in downtown Solun"

Koco Filin regularly visits his village of birth Ovcharani, in the Aegean part of Macedonia , Greece. In May this year, the mayor of Solun (Thessaloniki) is said to have invited Macedonian dance and music groups to perform Macedonian songs and dances in the centre of the town. Koco says he has not witnessed such a spectacle in many decades and was overjoyed to join fellow villagers in a round of dances in the centre of Solun.
