Macedonian referendum fails to reach turnout threshold in order to be valid

The matter will now be put to the Macedonian parliament and could lead to new elections

 Macedonian Prime Minister Zoran Zaev will need the support of two thirds majority in order to change the constitution

If the government fails to pass the legislation through parliament, early elections could be held in November
