Macedonian community stepping out at Moomba Source: Gordana Dimovska
"I've been following the Moomba parade since 1996 and each year the spectacle is even better. Melbourne knows how to be creative. " says Gordana Dimovska, president of the Macedonian Literary Association Koco Racin and herself a volunteer in many other Macedonian organisations. She says this year's Macedonian community entry delighted the public with their folk dances and exquisite costumes, participating in a carnival-style atmosphere well known throughout Macedonian history as well.
