Makedonika - the largest free online library in the Balkans

With an offer of 1000+ free electronic books in Macedonian and above 50,000 subscribers, Makedonika.mk is the largest free online library in the Balkans. Established in 2013 in Macedonia, this platform allows everyone around the world to have free access to Macedonian literature. The Foundation Makedonika was initiated by Zoran Spasov, who as a migrant living in Canada had experienced the lack of Macedonian literature abroad. Australian users of this platform with Macedonian books are ranked second among all its users outside Macedonia. The success of Makedonika spurred another project - the first Macedonian digital bookstore named "Knigoteka", which was recently launched in Skopje.
