Massive move to consolidate individual plots of farmland in Macedonian villages

You may think having farmland is super cool, however, for decades, Macedonian villagers have been inheriting scattered blocks of land and putting up with expensive production costs. One landowner may own up to 20 individual parcels of land in various locations, often requiring farmers to enter other properties for access to their own blocks. The government and European bodies have commencd with the system of consolidating patchy land ownership and putting an end to costly agricultural production.
