Melbourne Cup 2019- the race that stops the nation for over 100 years

The Spring Racing carnival's flagship day has arrived, the Melbourne Cup where more than 20 horses compete to win the prestigious sporting event. Race-goers are suiting or flocking up and preparing picnic hampers to sit track-side and watch all the action at Flemington race course today, Tuesday 5th November. The Melbourne Cup is such a notable event on the sporting calendar, there is a public holiday to mark the occasion in Victoria. One of the most popular and prolific fashion designers when it comes to the Spring Racing carnival is the Australian designer with Macedonian origin, Tony Maticevski.
