NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian announces 10,9 million extra funds for community languages

At the NSW Federation of Community Language Schools Annual Dinner 2017, the premier talked about the benefits of speaking a second language in a multicultural society such as Australia announcing additional funding from the NSW Government to the federation in order to help support teachers and take the language teaching to a new level.NSW community language schools teach 59 languages to 32,000 students on weekends at 500 locations across NSW.The 39th NSWCLS Annual Dinner was also attended by Minister for Multiculturalism,Ray Williams, Victor Dominello,Minister for Finace,Services and Property, Jihad Dib,Shadow Minister for Education,Dr G.K Harinath, Chairperson Multicultural NSW and over 500 guests, community representatives, teachers, parents, students and volunteers
