Perth enters lockdown as locally acquired case of COVID-19 recorded

Metropolitan Perth and two nearby areas will enter into a five-day hard lockdown after a hotel quarantine security guard infected with COVID-19 attended over a dozen venues. It comes as the federal government allows flights between Australia and New Zealand to resume after cases are contained there.
