Slavica Marcevska: A 3 decades long career with Sydney Health Care Interpreter Services

Translator and interpreter Slavica Marcevska knows what it takes to be a trusted two-way communicator between a patient and the health professional. Sydney Health Care Interpreter Services has been serving the community of NSW for over four decades and this year celebrates its 40 year contribution to improved services for patients. A career in Translating and Interpreting involves a three year university course, a NAATI test and regular short courses to upgrade for developments in the health sector.
