Here we discuss the challenges faced by someone living with dementia and how this affects the family. Verica Sajdovska , manager at the Macedonian Welfare Association of NSW explains the importance family members gain deep knowledge about different types of dementia in order to be able to cope better and to help the person suffering with the illness.
