In the “homeland of the proud Miyatsi”- the village of Galicnik, the tradition and folklore of Macedonians have been preserved with care and passion. Each year, on St. Peter’s day, they have been proudly presented to the world through the popular cultural event known as "Galicnik Wedding" for nearly five decades. This year’s couple Marina Petrovska and Ognen Karadjozovski will be the main focus of Galicnik Wedding 2019, which will be held on 13th and 14th July. SBS Macedonian discusses the details of this Macedonian cultural event, with Rubens Muratovski, a well-known Macedonian actor, himself a descendant of Galicnik.
