The main union representing truck drivers in the country has criticised the Turnbull government's plans to abolish the road safety watchdog. Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull has pledged that if re-elected, the coalition government will get rid of the Road Safety Remuneration Tribunal. The decision follows anger at new minimum pay rates for so-called owner-truck drivers.
