UK court denies bail for Julian Assange

Julian Assange remains in a London prison, after losing his bid to be released on bail. Earlier this week, the United States’ application to have him extradited was rejected, but the US is appealing that decision; and a judge found there were “substantial grounds” to believe he would abscond if released.
