Sexism in Parliament House and within politics more generally has come into question, in the wake of a rape allegation by a former liberal staffer, Brittany Higgins. On International Women's Day ((Mar 8)), women from across the political divide reflect on that toxic culture and what needs to happen to improve the environment for women in the workplace. They say now is the time, more than ever, for women to enter politics, and make their voices heard
