United Macedonian Diaspora Director for Australia Ordan Andreevski says the UMD is against the idea of a referendum and will continue to oppose all attempts to change the name. He says the Macedonian people made a decision in 1991 when they declared independence and every subsequent attempt for a referendum on the same or similar issue proves only that the people are not important.
