David Coleman - the new immigration minister under PM Morrison

David Coleman has become the immigration minister under the new lineup announced by Prime Minister Scott Morrison on Sunday. Coleman, who was the assistant Minister for Finance under the previous Turnbull government, represents some of the suburbs with the highest number of Nepali speakers in Australia.

Prime Minister Scott Morrison  announced his new ministry on Sunday, just days after being sworn in as Prime Minister.

Peter Dutton will retain the position of Home Affairs Minister, while Angus Taylor will take the Energy porfolio.

Marise Payne will take over from Julie Bishop as foreign minister after Ms Bishop resigned.

Mathias Cormann has been returned as finance minister and Senate leader.

In other notable changes, Dan Tehan has been moved into the Education portfolio, while Simon Birmingham moves to trade and tourism.

Christopher Pyne moves across to Defence and Steven Ciobo will replace him as Defence Industry Minister.

West Australian M-P Melissa Price has been moved into cabinet as environment minister.
