Nepal has doubled its wild tiger population. A 2022 survey revealed that an estimated 355 tigers are in Nepal now, up from 121 individuals in 2010. Actor and wildlife activist Leonardo DiCaprio has congratulated Nepal for achieving its global commitment calling it an impressive milestone
