Stage one water restrictions to hit Sydney from June 1

The NSW government is introducing the first stage of water restrictions in Sydney from Saturday, 1 June 2019, as city's water storage levels edge towards 50 percent.

Sydney residents will face water restrictions from Saturday, the first time in a decade, due to low-level storage at various dam sites across greater Sydney.
