Swasthani and Madhav Narayan festival begins

The month long Swasthani and Madhav Narayan festival begins in Sankhu. Hindu women take the Swasthani vrat or fast, while men perform difficult rituals for Madhav Narayan festival during the month of Jan/Feb in Sankhu.
