Sweeping changes to consent laws in NSW an 'important step' towards addressing sexual violence

People accused of sexual assault will need to prove they took steps to obtain consent, as part of a major overhaul of sexual consent laws in New South Wales.

In Australia, violence against women is called many different things, including domestic violence, family violence, intimate partner violence, sexual harassment and sexual assault.
