Manchala Kumari Jha is one of the five members of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Nepal which is responsible for finding out the truth about incidents of gross violation of human rights during the decade long armed conflict in the Himalayan nation. It also works towards providing the recommendation for legal actions against those found guilty of war crimes. We spoke with Ms Jha and asked why is it taking so long for anything to come out from the Commission.
