'After enjoying so many benefits, you should set an example of being a good citizen'

Australia celebrates Citizenship Day on September 17th. The purpose of the day is to reflect on the importance, responsibilities, and benefits of being an Australian citizen. Many Nepali community members who have taken up Australian citizenship have expressed a sense of responsibility after becoming citizens. However, they point out, waiting in the queue for foreigners on a visit to Nepal would be unpleasantly uncomfortable, but it would be easier if the Nepali government provided dual citizenship as soon as possible.
