Anil adhikari ends his hunger strike in Melbourne after Nepal embassy's statement

A Nepali, stranded in Australia amid international flight restrictions, has ended his 8 hours long hunger strike after Nepal embassy in Canberra stated that it will take action to help Nepalis get home.

Anil Adhikari, currently visiting Melbourne had staged hunger strike on Wednesday demanding clear information from the Nepal embassy regarding the prospect of evacuating Nepalis stranded in Australia.

Adhikari spoke to SBS Nepali about his hunger strike and Nepal embassy's statement.
