Are modern Teej songs beginning to ignore tradition?

Singer Durgesh Thapa was probably the first young man to appear in a music video singing Teej's song and a current member of the National Assembly Komal Oli had also released a controversial song titled "Poila Jaan Paun" during Teej. Are these attempts beginning to ignore tradition? Girish Giri in Kathmandu explores.
