Melbourne cricketer Sunam Gautam is leading a team of Nepali players to compete against teams from other south Asian countries at the upcoming Champions League competition. Organized by the Melbourne Renegades, the competition will see team Nepal battle it out against teams from India, Paksitan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Afghanistan. Gautam has previously played for Nepal's under 19 cricket team and says he is looking forward to this new challenge set to start from November 12, 2017.
