The festival aims to introduce Nepali culture and lifestyle to the wider Australian community.
People will be seen in Nepali cultural attire, cultural parades will make its rounds in the tourist area of Darwin Waterfront.
NANT and Non-Resident Nepalese Association Australia's (NRNAA) Northern Territory Committee had conjointly organised Nepalese Food and Culture Festival in 2018.
But this year's festival is a solo and a signature project of Nepalese Association of Northern Territory (NANT) and is supported by the government of Northern Territory.

And for that local government of Darwin had awarded NANT and NRNA Australia's state committee with one of the top honours in the City of Darwin Australia Awards 2019.
For the effort to spread Nepali cultural heritage to the wider community the festival was awarded as community event of the year.
The president of the organisation Subash Pokhrel says the whole team is very excited for its first big signature event.
He says the surrounding of the venue, as well as the whole festival, is tempting.
"The venue is beautiful, surrounded by sea and there is parkland (grassy area) and also big buildings all around."

Musical performance by local Nepali bands and dance performance by school students along with added values to the festival whereas cultural parades and foods are at the centre.
