Deadly car blast near India’s Red Fort kills at least eight

A powerful car explosion near New Delhi’s historic Red Fort has killed at least eight people and injured around twenty others. The blast, which erupted near the Red Fort metro station in the city's old quarter, tore through one of the city’s busiest streets, setting vehicles ablaze and scattering debris and human remains along the road. WARNING: Contains references to the effects of the blast which some may find distressing.
