Deepak Rauniyar has become the first Nepali film producer to have his feature film shown at the 2017 Sydney Film festival. Apart from his second film White Sun being shown at the festival, Rauniyar is also making history by becoming the first Nepali person to be a part of the festival's five member jury panel. Deepak Rauniyar became a well known name in Nepali film industry with his 2012 debut Highway. He spoke to SBS Nepali about his latest film White Sun and his experience of being a jury member at the Sydney festival.
