Harrowing claims of abuse and neglect have come to light in the final report of the Royal Commission into People with Disability. The Royal Commission was established by the Coalition in April 2019, and since then more than 10,000 people have shared their stories. The report is more than 4,000 pages long, spans 12 volumes, and makes 222 recommendations. The federal government says it needs time to work through the extensive document.
